We arrived in Belgium 3 months ago and are loving it here! It is such a different life from what we were used to coming from Houston. I have finally started to remember to bring my own grocery bags to the store and a euro to get a shopping cart.
All of the fiber related things are starting to get going again as we are settling into our new house. I get to have my own studio space which has been an absolute DREAM! With my own space I feel like I can really be creative without worrying whether or not the boys are going to drag projects all over the house lol.
Right before we left Houston I got a Ashford Spinner and it has been so much fun! I really loved the texture of lockspun yarn and could find very few skeins available, so I just decided to start spinning my own. It has been a huge learning experience and the yarn is very far from perfect but I can't wait to see the progress of the yarn.
